General information
Nya Lövgärdesskolan is a K4 to 9 school located 2 miles north from Göteborg in a suburb area called Lövgärdet.

The teachers are working in teams where every team is taking care of a grade or preparation class. The teams have regular meetings every Monday morning and Tuesday afternoon where they talk about common activities, about the pupils and other school topics. There are 7 different workteams, for grade 4 to 9 and one for the preparing classes. In the preparing classes we have immigrant pupils who need extra training in the Swedish language.

Collaboration with other schools

- We participated between 1983 and 2001 in a network with five Swedish schools. The goal was to develope our horizontal team based organization.
- Nya Lövgärdesskolan is since 2001 coordinator for the Comenius 1 project "On your own feet".
