Lára joined Kidlink in March 1992. Her contributions are many, and include:
  • A Kidlink song (2004)
  • Member of Kidlink’s top management team (October 2000 – October 2004)
  • Manager of Kidlink-Multi (July 1999 -2007 ).
  • Contents Development Coordinator of the I Have a Dream program.
  • Created the Icelandic area within Kidlink in April 1997, and acted as coordinator until September 1998.
  • Contents Development Coordinator of the Who-Am-I? program (1997/98).
  • Assistant Project Director (February 1995 – May 1999)
  • Co-founder of the Kidlink Society (1996). Served on the Board of Directors until September 1998.
  • Have created online courses for teachers about the use of  Kidlink in the classroom.
  • Coordinator of Kidforum since the start in 1992 until February 1995.
  • Coordination of the annual Celebrations (1993 – 1998).
  • Lára helped a colleague submit student responses to Kidlink’s four questions in October, 1992.
  • In Kidlink Institute/Education since 1998.

Roopal Mehta joined Kidlink in January 2001. Her contributions include:
  • Developed Kidlink’s main software for receipt of artworks from participating kids. (2003)
  • Member of Kidlink’s Board of Directors representing Asia (2003-2007)
  • Continuously spreading the word about Kidlink in India
  • Member of the KidArt management team as Native Art coordinator (2002- 2007)
  • Helped create a KidArt Exibition with works from the Ninad Art Class in Gujarat (India), and the “Who-Am-I?” participants in the Visamo Relief Camp. (2001)
  • Worked with suddenly orphaned children at the Visamo Relief Camp soon after the 2001 earthquake hit India.
  • Translated key Kidlink information into Gujarati, which is her language. (2001). Supports translating into other Indian languages where special characters are used.
  • In Kidlink Institute/Education since 2003.

  • Organized Kidlink’s international management conference in Rio de Janeiro, 1996, including fundraising.
  • User Support Manager. February 1996
  • Multiple Language Support Manager. September 1995
  • Assistant Kidforum coordinator. March 1995
  • Made the first Kidlink House in Brazil a reality. 1995. Driving force behind the Brazilian KHouse development.
  • Played a key role in Kidlink’s Portuguese language area since February 1995, and is “driving” our activities in Brazil. Coordinator of Kidlink-Portuguese, 1996 – 1997.
